11th Annual Anacostia River Festival

This FREE family-friendly event will reconnect you to the river and the outdoors. The 11th Street Bridge Park and the National Park Service present the 11th Annual Anacostia River Festival. Please stop by and visit us, the Hammock Grove Team, during the festival!

Join us at this FREE family-friendly event as we celebrate 11 Years of Sankofa on the River: Bridging Legacies at Anacostia Park

All activities are FREE. Reservations and water safety waivers must be completed before participating in water activities. Both can be obtained from the River Activities tent located on the festival grounds.

Address - Anacostia Park (Anacostia Drive & Good Hope Road SE)

Metro - Anacostia Station (Green Line). Exit toward the parking garage to walk to the Festival site (approx. 7 min).

Bike Access - Free bike valet available! Capital Bikeshare Corral Service is available on Marion Barry Ave, across from the Anacostia Arts Center!

Parking - Free parking at Anacostia Metro Station (1101 Howard Road SE). Street Parking will also be available inside Anacostia Park along Aviation Drive SE, please enter through Howard Road. Paid parking lots are available in Anacostia and Navy Yard.

When parking at the Anacostia Metro parking garage, please consider the short walk to the Festival site (approx. 7 min). Additional ADA accommodations will be made for individuals per request.
